I took to the river a day after our first big snow. I accompanied to students from China. We were given hot water bottles and rugs so were very snug except for hands working my camera. The river was so quiet. It was an almost surreal wonderland. The great experience proved there are still good reasons to include earthquake-damaged Christchurch on a New Zealand visit. We need visitors and still have much to offer.

The price is 25 dollars per person which i think it's a little bit expensive. I imagine it's gonna be very beautiful. It is but not that much. The distance was not so far too. It 's a nice experience if you come to town but just if you have much free time.

We did a shared boat ride up and down the river. I loved every minute of it. It was very relaxing and I enjoyed hearing the punter tell us little tidbits about the scenery. Afterward, we were able to go upstairs and see a new boat being constructed.
