Having been touring around for nearly three weeks, I was getting almost desperate for a good curry and The Himalayas did not disappoint. The aroma outside draws you into the restaurant which is very clean and well organised. The poppadoms for starters were very thin and dry and quite different from what you get in the UK.
The fish special was nicely spiced and very tasty whilst the chicken madras had a kick to it but was well balanced and not oily as often served in some restaurants. Portion sizes were very generous and the nan bread and rice servings were also substantial.
No room for dessert but my curry cravings were well satisfied.
