The young couple attending to us were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very quiet, spotlessly clean, with nice modern decor. I would recommend it.

Room Tip: Only experienced quiet, back, single-story room, with lovely wooden deck and outdoor BBQ area. Very...

Stayed here for 2 nights before going on Trans Alpine. The hosts were very accommodating and offered to arrange free shuttle to train which was great. When we came back on the TransAlpine 4 days later they picked us up from train and we stayed another night. No traffic noise in spite of being on very busy road. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Great cafe for breakfast across the road and at a reasonable price. Bed was very comfortable. Facilities of a high standard. Would recommend.

Stayed here on arrival at ChCh prior to riding the TranzAlpine to Greymouth the following day. The lovely host promptly offered to arrange a free bus pickup to the station. The rooms were very nice, and a taxi driver we had said they were recently renovated. Westfield was nearby as were some dining options and we were given a 10% discount voucher to Robbies on Riccarton pub (10 minute walk away) which was a good option for dinner.
On the downside, it was a long walk to the CBD (not that there was much to see sadly) and I don't recall being offered wifi, although others said it is available. Overall very happy though :)

Perfect place to stay for a night in christchurch. Nice and clean room, which was surprisingly spacious. The lodge offers free wifi and there is no noise from the road close by. Bit of a trek into town but great if you have a car.

Did the Tranzalpine train trip Christchurch to Greymouth and back on Saturday and wanted to have 2 nights accommodation close to the railway station. Found this motel online and we had a lovely stay - clean, modern, comfortable and close to many nice places to eat in Clarence St. The management were very helpful, friendly and happy to oblige. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Guys.

Lovely rooms - well appointed and with lots of those little extras that make the difference. Lovely coffee, tea selection and lots of attention given to all the little details - even the cutlery straight in the drawers!
Owners took the effort to walk me to my room, turn on heater and check everything ok. Nice easy check in and plenty parking near room.

Room Tip: Had a room around behind reception - very private and quiet. As single traveler the room was ample...

We needed a 2 bedroom suite and were very happy with the room and the cost. It was very clean and modern and well supplied. The owner was very friendly and helpful, going out of her way to have the room ready for an early check in after a very long flight. My only comment would be that one should have a car if staying here as there are not many services within easy walking distance.
