Description: Named after the original walnut trees that lined the entrance to the winery, lunch at our Twelve Trees Restaurant is a must for visitors, and locals alike. The great food and relaxing atmosphere, whether in the sheltered courtyard, or inside by the fire, provide a warm welcome. Menus change seasonally to reflect Head Chef, Matt Gibson's simple food philosophy "fresh & local". However a couple of signature dishes, including the Seafood Chowder, which has become a local favourite, remain on the menu year round. Come in and try it with the delicious Wallops Chardonnay!

We arrived without a booking when they were busy. Nothing was a problem and the steak, pork and vegetarian food were of a very high quality. The coffee was good and the price for seven was only $200. I'd certainly return if I am in Blenheim.

Loved Twelve Trees. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, the food delicious and locally sourced and the garden setting in the vineyards very beautiful and memorable. And obviously the wine was outstanding. Recommend the Chardonnay, if that's your cup of tea.

This is a fantastic spot...food was really good and service was sublime. Great for warm or cool days/nights as the heaters and configuration of the outdoor room really work well

I experienced a beautiful meal with my Husband last week at the stunning outdoor dining area at Twelve Trees restaurant. Well kept gardens, a lovely water feature/pond and a relaxing atmosphere. We indulged in their famous and tasty Seafood Chowder each, then thoroughly enjoyed a delicious "Hop Scotch Sundae" for dessert. Compliments to the chef! Initially we were greeted by a waitress with short brownish hair who couldn't even smile at us or be polite. She treated us though we were an inconvenience to her day. Her rude voice and laughter echoed through the restaurant and disturbed our dining experience. We did however, encounter the other wait staff who were friendly and professional. Thank you Twelve Trees, but perhaps you re-think your standards when hiring wait staff.
