Vintners Retreat is an excellent place to stay. Definitely upmarket and the appointments and facilities reflect this. Quality of kitchen facilities is top rate, excellent BBQ, very comfortable rooms and bathroom facilities are excellent. Layout of the Stables units is very good for two people or couples.
Only beef was speed and connectivity for internet, but hardly a big deal for a short stay.

Room Tip: Get in early, especially during busy times.

Our recent stay at Vintners Retreat was a real treat, right in the heart of the Marlborough Wine region was perfect. The villa was self contained was beautiful and had all the facilities we needed for our family stay. Swimming pool and trampoline on site and a BBQ for cooking.
The welcome and reception facilities was a lovely addition to a perfect place to stay and enjoy the local wines cellar doors. They we about to purchase their own tandem bikes to use to get about the cellar doors on 2 wheels safely.. Perfect stay .Thanks you

We meet our UK son here and his partner for some valuable time together. It was perfect. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable apartment and the most heavenly beds. This would be great for a family event and allow everyone there own space.

Room Tip: A room where you can walk out onto the vineyard.

This is a great place for a family or an extended stay with friends in the wine country. It is in a great location. Lots of room in the common areas and two bathrooms. Not luxury but nicely done. Help is there if you need it.

This was a great place for us to stay in the middle of the wineries near Blenheim. The weather let us down on our visit, but this would of been a good central place to base yourself if you are planning on ridding a bike around the cellar doors in the area. The accommodation was clean, modern and spacious. It felt like home.

Lovely place and location, and very helpful staff. A little expensive but you certainly get a great experience that is targeted at the more discerning customer. Rooms are top quality, spacious and have all the expected facilities.

This was the second time we had stayed at Vintners Treat. we wanted to experience the same quality and standard of accommodation as we had 10 years ago. This time we took friends with us and stayed in the same villa as before. Our friends were taken back by the villa and the setting. We had a great stay but was a bit disappointed both bedrooms were extremely hot and a bit uncomfortable to sleep as when you close the doors there was no air coming through even if you opened the windows in each room. The other thing we noticed was when we went outside their was bird droppings over the windows, down the side of the outside walls and on the outside furniture. We had to clean the outside furniture before using it. This did not reflect the 5 star quality accommodation. In We also notice that the gardens were not as maintain to high standard as our previous visit. But we had a great time sitting outside having pre dinner drinks and amazing breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the setting was nice and quiet.
