“Great spot and delicious food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

A lovely beer garden - great to be comfortable and eat outside. The food was absolutely delicious - bold flavour combinations that are matched perfectly. The service left a little to be desired. Overall, a great spot for dinner and a drink.

“Pleasant summer evening meal al fresco”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

As a local who had not previously tried this restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and small but adequate menu choices. Service was friendly but would have preferred change of cutlery between starter and mains, and gelato served in paper pottle let it down a little, for an adult dessert. However the Apple Strudel was to die for and we will be back just for this alone! The local wine and beer list was small but plenty of variety. Can recommend the Drylands Pinot Noir!. A very pleasant way to spend a sunny Blenheim evening in a nice quiet atmosphere.

“We love it...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2013

This has quickly become our favourite eating place in Blenheim, over Christmas we took most of our family there for lunches or dinners, even to the point of having an extremely chilled out Christmas lunch there. The bonus is that they open on public holidays (which a lot of Blenheim eateries don't) and they don't have a surcharge which is really good to see. The food is great with a really yummy selection of gourmet pizza's (I recommend the lamb one), a German menu, and gelato for dessert. They have a nice range of local craft beers and Marlborough wines.

The staff are exceptionally friendly (it's a family run business and you'll often see the owner and his wife working hard to make sure everyone enjoys their visit).

The seating inside is great for rainy or cold days, but outside in the beer garden is definitely the place to be on a sunny day.

Very much recommended, in fact we'll probably see you there!

“A little haven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

What a surprise find this place was. The beer garden was gorgeous and the beer tasting tray a great idea. Had a Bretzel and it was delicious. If you are staying at the Blenheim top 10 this place is just across the road and what you need at the end of a busy day. We might be back there tomorrow

“A Blenheim must do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

I went here because I had been impressed with the Renaissance Beer and wanted to visit the brewery, Was delighted with the service and ambience. I stayed in the motel next door so was able to have an extended visit. The outstanding meal was an added bonus. The restaurant owner is friendly and knowledgeable. the quirky brewers very entertaining.
