Description: A big city cafe in a "little" town. Great coffee, fantastic local craft beers and lovely local wines. Our menu features local and seasonal fare, with options ranging from hot breakfasts to afternoon indulgences, a wide variety of cooked and pre-prepared lunches from our cabinet, as well as gluten-free and vegetarian treats. We can even make you up anything from our cabinets or menu as a picnic to go! We're open seven days a week from 7.00am until 4.00pm. We serve the bustling breakfast, lunch and coffee trade, and the cafe is a well-utilised space for meetings. We are fully-licensed and also love hosting private functions. Come upstairs for relaxed dining or enjoy the famous Marlborough sun outside.

This great café is situated on the corner of High Street and Seymour Street, Blenheim - opposite the picturesque Seymour Square.

The name is the philosophy here – creating the mouth-watering sensation that comes when you look at, smell, and eat delicious food.

There is a downstairs area with an additional outdoor dining area, and upstairs there is a quiet seating area, with tables, comfortable sofas and coffee tables, as well as a cosy fire in colder days.

There is a daily offering of a good selection of modern New Zealand cuisine featuring local and seasonal fare, with options ranging from hot breakfasts to afternoon indulgences, plus a wide variety of cooked and pre-prepared lunches including gluten-free and vegetarian meals. To accompany the food you can select from great coffee, teas and other hot beverages, or local Marlborough wine and craft beers.

Well worth seeking out whilst in Blenheim.

Coffee is always hot. The muffins are proper muffins and not some cake mix from a wholesaler, Service is friendly - they seem to have a lot of repeat business, mine too for that matter, Well done Watery Mouth and keep those macciatos just as they are - perfecto!

My husband and I have stopped here for breakfast the last three years as we've passed through Blenheim on our way home to Wellington at the end of our summer holiday and we plan to keep doing so. Their big breakfast is our treat to ourselves to say goodbye to the holiday and is always delicious.

I also visited Blenhem in June with my sister and several others, and this was also their favourite place for lunch and/or afternoon coffees - and the lunch options are just as delicious as the breakfasts. The staff are friendly and helpful and it was great to see the same three people working there 7 months later, given high turnover in the hospitality industry. I hope to see the same faces next time I visit.

Regularly go to Watery Mouth for breakfast with workmates. They have great service, great coffee and the best breakfast in town. It's nice to sit upstairs and you have a view of Seymour Sq and the hills in the distance. Very pretty in the morning. We can book the day before for a large group and they set everything up for us when we arrive in the morning.

Lots of seating upstairs once you have ordered at the counter, the staff were really nice and helpful, we wre a group of 14. Most food arrived fast but sadly a couple of meals were very late in arriving once the rest of us had finished, But quality of food and drinks makes it a great place to eat at, they have a selection of Hot chocolates like ginger or toffee these are amazing
