The best place to stay in Blenheim by far. Hospitable, generous and a fantastically tasteful setting. Small touches like ultra soft towels and bed linen make so much difference and Phil and Kathryne are so welcoming.

We were on our first trip to New Zealand and had a couple of days before joining another group. So, my wife and I and our friends booked the 2 rooms at this wonderful place for 2 nights. The house sits on about 3 acres and was designed from the ground up as a very upscale B&B. The drive way is lined by olive trees. Breakfast usually includes fruit from the trees they planted, eggs from their chickens, and a choice of Phil's homemade and delicious pancakes. Each of the two rooms is spacious, well designed, with large bathrooms containing walk-in dual head showers. Upon arrival the first night, we had a dinner that included 3 different New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, smoked salmon, mussels, cheeses, homemade quince jelly, hummus, breads, cheese & spinach stuffed phyllo pastry, olives, and red peppers. It was magnificent. We also got to know Phil and Kathryne, the hosts. They are hospitable, intelligent, and funny. We soon felt like family. Throughout the stay, there is access to guest lounge containing a big screen tv and hundreds of movies, free wifi, a refrigerator to raid that has wines, beer, and vodka, and, in the morning before breakfast, coffee and tea. Phil also offers his services for a guided tour of the wine country and we had a great day. Overall, this is one of our favorite places ever.

A luxurious, relaxing, homestay experience on an estate with character in the best wine making region of New Zealand. Phil and Kathryne are great hosts and once again made our stay a memorable one. Sumptuous breakfasts with homegrown produce, local wines to sample, and all in a beautiful garden setting with the hills of Marlborough in the distance.
Thanks again for everything, and look forward to our next visit.

Room tip: Two luxury rooms, both unique and beautifully appointed. We prefer the end room with double aspect windows.

First things first! Don't forget to pack your GSOH!

Hard to beat the friendly welcome from Kathryne and Phil. Feel relaxed immediately. Then wallow in the en suited accommodation - Luxurious, spacious and warm.

You will have run of the pantry - tea (every kind), coffee (espresso machine), soft drinks, wine, beer and delicious home made cookies.

Enjoy Phil's cooked breakfasts - scrumptuous and be sure not to miss Kathryne's wicked sense of humour.

Thanks for your review and we did enjoy your company. I think you are the only guests to do two wine tours during their stay so well done and keep drinking our fine Marlborough wine. Enjoyed watching the rugby of course. Please stay again if you are ever this way again and enjoy the 70's.

We stayed at the Antria for our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Phil picked us up at the airport and let us in to his warm and beautiful home. His breakfasts were amazing, as was his wine tour. We will definitely be back!
