I was a bit disappointed when we. Drove into the hotel as it has no presence but the units themselves are fantastic. They're thoughtfully designed to provide vineyard views but also privacy. The spaces are large and the decor is lovely although a little more colour would be welcome. Great bathroom and amenities. The lady not reception was delightfully welcoming and solicitous despite not having a record of our reservation. She gave us our room straightaway and said she'd sort it all out later which she did. Thank you.

A really special hotel in a stunning area. The Marlborough Vintners has it all, friendly staff, comfortable appartments with superb views, great food and as you would expect wonderful wine.

We hired a couple a bikes from the hotel and were impressed with the quality and condition of them - its a great area to ride in and good to relax after a long day in the saddle with in the hot tub

Room Tip: We chose a vineyard view and enjoyed the vista

Thank you for your review. The fact that you can tick off 8 wineries before you get t the end of the road is very special and doing it by bike is a lot of fun.

A very modern room set in the scenic Marlborough region. The staff was courteous -- helped us find our way to Picton and to book a tour of wineries. The room service was delightful. A very nice choice.

Room Tip: They're all nice. The property is well situated in the valley.

Spent one night with my mother on a gourmet package in a vineyard suite recently.
The accommodation was simply superb with vast amounts of space and spectacular views across the vineyards!
Everything was spotless and I enjoyed the full Sky TV facilities provided.
Huge bathroom with massive shower and luxury toiletries provided.
Had a great dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a gourmet, continental breakfast the next day.
Would definitely stay here again, but certainly for more than one night!
Outstanding!!

Room Tip: Go for a Vineyard suite!

Stayed for two nights on a tour of New Zealand. The rooms (lodges) are very well equipped and have wonderful bathrooms and lounges. We managed to walk/stumble to 4 different vineyards and on both of our evenings here had fantastic meals. The restaurant is in a treat location and the service was excellent. We could not find fault with anything at this hotel. Recommend the nearby chocolate factory and the lunch at Giesen vineyard .

A very quiet and comfortable location in the heart of the Marlborough vineyards.
The hotel had lovely, modern, spacious suites in a country setting, smack in the middle of the Marlborough vineyards.
We dined in the restaurant both nights. The meal was very good and service great.
Throroughly recommend a stay.

Thank you for your review. At the moment it really is Vineyard central as we are in the middle of Harvest so you can stop along the way and get great shots of the grapes coming off.

Unfortunately our stay here was very short, due to the ferry delay and our late arrival. Our suite consisted of a very comfortable and simply decorated lounge, dining and kitchen area, with a separate bedroom and huge bathroom. The setting in the vineyard was lovely. Parking at your door and free wifi were great, but the best feature was the intense water pressure - making the shower fantastic! Loved it! Would definitely come again, but hopefully with more time to spend sampling the local produce, (and the shower!!)

We have to agree with you we are very lucky that we have such strong water pressure and it is due to the fact we have our own water bore. Great for washing your hair!
