Was walking along Cuba Mall, looking for a new place to eat, and I notice a small restaurant called Thai House. Wouldn't have noticed that restaurant as it was tucked away in a dark corner of Cuba Mall but I managed to, only because I made the effort to look at every single restaurant's menu there before deciding what to eat.
Went on 3 different occasions, had Stuffed Chicken Wings (Angel Wings, I think), Deep Fried Wontons and Thai Fish Cakes for entrées, had Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and Pad Thai for Mains.
Entrées, nothing special. Seems to me they used the same chicken mince to make the wontons and stuff the chicken wings. Traditionally they would use minced pork but I guess they have to cater to local taste buds (?)
However, Mains were great! Slurped up every single drop of spicy beef soup and as for the Pad Thai it had the nice charred flavour from the wok, a cooking skill which you rarely find in western countries. I also tried my friend's red curry. It was nice, sweet and creamy. Could be spicier but one of the best I've tried in a western country.
