In my opinion.
Food great, got a selection of meat and seafood on a stick. Yum!
Service is great with a great fun atmosphere to the place. Probably better in a group of 3 or more. Not exactly somewhere you would go for a romantic outing

Recommended by granddaughter. Great choice, wide variety of delicious food. Tasted crab cooked differently and was tasty. Great wine/beer selection, even had beer for the grandson. Only down side very busy and noisy.

I'm always a bit hesitant about going into a restaurants I can't see into but I'm glad I made the effort to go up the stairs into the unknown with this one! We were just passing, looking for somewhere to eat and this menu caught our eye. We were quite early so got a nice seat at the bar where we could see the chefs cooking the yakitori and all the other nice food coming out. The menu has a great variety and lots of options - so many that we ended up ordering twice.

We started off with some seafood yakitori and sushi which was all delicious. Helped down by a huge Asahi beer that we shared we felt ready for a bit more food and ordered some more sushi and this time some meat yakitori. Again it was all very tasty. By this time the restaurant was getting really busy but we weren't rushed at all and it was really nice doing a bit of people watching from our seat at the bar. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and we wanted to go back for a second time but unfortunately they were closed on the night we had free - a Sunday I think.

I would completely recommend this place - we ended up spending a bit more because we ordered two lots of food - but that's just because we were greedy and because the food was sooo good!! Now we're just upset that we don't have anything like that near where we live as we would be there every week!

Gee I love this restaurant, we visit New Zealand once a year and as well as White House, Shed 5 and Martin Bosley we always dine here and the bill is much cheaper! Grab a table or a stool and watch your food cooked before your eyes, enjoy the draft Japanese beer, suck back the sake and have a great time with friends. You don't need to order all at once, keep the menu, keep talking, keep drinking, keep ordering snacks, the night will fly by! If you are an adventerous eater you MUST have the octopus balls with bonito flakes on top or "winking tuna" as I call it. The heat moves the thin slivers so your fried snack moves before your eyesw. The soft shell crab, if you've never tried it, try it here, it's the BOMB! Yes you eat it whole, yes it's a crab, yes it's deep fried so it anint that bad, sooooo good.

Tried Kazu after reading tripadvisor and have no regret. Love the yakitori and the wakame salad is the best!! The portions were small so a bit pricey to get your tummy full. It's also a small restaurant though..so better have reservation rather than having a disappointment of a full house (especially on weekend)
