We came to Wellington for the Wearable Arts Show and wanted to stay close to the venue.
The Ibis was but a few minutes walk to the TSB Arena
We arrived before midday, were greeted by a friendly receptionist and were able to have one room right away, which was a bonus.
The rooms were plain, but were clean, with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers.
I did notice there was only one sports channel on the tv, which may have disappointed anyone who had hopes of watching a major live event.
The breakfasts were reasonably priced, especially as children under 12 could eat for half price.
And when the self service hot drink machine broke down, one of the staff made hot chocolate drinks for our girls when it was fixed and brought it to them at the table. It is small kindnesses like this that children remember.
Would happily stay here again.
