Loved the location, right in the middle of the City. Great spacious apartment and very clean.
Staff were so welcoming and provided us with a free rollaway. Really made our weekend away so relaxing. Car parking a little walk away but with the location only needed the car once. Thank you to all the staff and would definitely stay again.

I stayed for 2 nights on business.

Upon arrival I received the welcome news that I had been upgraded to a Director's Suite.

As a result the room was very spacious and well appointed.

The hotel is nicely situated along Lambton Quay.

Perfectly located in the heart of Wellington close to all amenities and the harbour front. Spotlessly clean and well appointed rooms. Staff who went out of their way to be helpful including offering us free coffees as we were waiting for our transport to leave. One good point is that there is a range of breakfast options - so that, if you only want continental, you only pay for that. As stated by another reviewer, we advise you pick the room carefully. Those at the back of the hotel, although very well appointed, look onto a light-well and are dark and depressing needing electric light, even on the brightest day. Ask for a room at the front overlooking Lambton Quay. Free Wi-Fi in reception only - if you want access in your room, you pay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel

The staff at Citylife are wonderful and the rooms were immaculate. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The location is perfect being right in the centre of the city and walking distance to all the sights, shops, waterfront and the restaurants. My only criticism would be it's hard to find the parking area as it's at the back of the hotel. But with a quick trip up to reception the staff were wonderful and so helpful with their directions on how to get to the parking areas.
I would definitely recommend anyone to stay with Citylife Wellington

I had a meeting with colleagues staying at Citylife Apartments and was impressed by the size of their apartment and how well appointed it was. So I booked my own apartment for a Friday night so that I could attend a concert in Wellington that night.

The online booking system worked very well as did the advance payment process. The ability to book car-parking and meals in advance was very helpful. Reception at Citylife was warm and friendly and there was no confusion about my booking.

The apartment was excellent - well appointed; comfortable bed; excellent shower and toilet facilities; kitchen and laundry facilities were top class and the place really was a home away from home package.

Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. the car park arrangements were excellent and well priced.

Definitely a place to return to.

Room Tip: I have used 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartments and both are comfrtable and quiet.

Our 1st room was a little dark as it looks onto a wall but on request we were moved into a larger apartment overlooking the street. The staff were very helpful and cheery. The flat had everything we needed, basically equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, soap & detergent provided, small dining area and sitting room space. The shower is great, a hairdryer is provided, the bed big & comfortable; it is clean and bright. It's in a great central location so easy to walk everywhere. Excellent 24 hour NW supermarket 5 mins away. The Wifi was an extra cost which seems common in N.Z. but that was compensated for by the laundry facilities. The place does need a bit of a re-furb. but all in all we thought it great value for a decent comfortable spacious place to stay. Would defiantly stay there again.

Room Tip: If you prefer a bright room ask for a street facing apartment.

This hotel is in a central location on Lambton Quay. Close to shopping, restaurants and the museums. The cable car is seconds away. The one bedroom suite we had was enormous, quiet and comfortable on the 6th floor with a limited view of the harbour. The décor was a little dated but the space was amazing with kitchen, lounge, separate bedroom and washing machine and dryer outside the door. The staff were efficient and friendly. Parking was limited near the hotel entrance and was charged daily. The hotel entrance reception was a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in a back street but there was a pedestrian entrance from Lambton Quay. It is times like this that you need a GPS otherwise we would never have found it. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: Choose a Lambton Quay facing room on the highest floor.
