“A nice break from Windy City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

A small rose garden at the bottom of the park has a nice coffee shop. I was surprised to see a good selection of healthier lunch items, I.e. Salads with salmon etc. we had a brief stop to get a cup of coffee ( love NZ espresso ) and stroll the gardens. Lots of pregnant or moms with young kids at this location

“A grand traditional english garden”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2013

Beautiful gardens, felt like a very traditional English garden but on a very grand scale. Located in a wonderful spot with a magnificent panorama. The trip by the cable car makes it a special occasion.

“Beautiful gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2013

Liked the gardens very much. Even though it was a cloudy day I enjoyed spending a couple of hours walking around and looking at the plants. The trees look majestic and the information provided on the plants and the history of the gardens makes it a very interesting walk

“Just beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013

Went up in the cable car. Struggled to find the entrance but asked and were directed. The gardens are beautiful and we spent a few hours wandering around. Definitely worth a visit!
