So many interesting exhibits. New Zealand culture and history is explained in unusual, engaging formats. I didn’t have enough time there. Good lunch rooms too.

Absolute must for a visit to Wellington! Free, good facilities, cloak room, great location. Be sure to have a wander down the nearby boardwalk too.

it is one of the important tourist attraction to go in wellington. admission is free of charge and quite a good place to hang out. Too bad some of the exhibition is closed for renovation now.

We were only in town for one day and this was one of the attractions we chose to do. It was very well laid out and we spent quite some time wandering around looking at the various exhibits

This is one of the best museums I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The facilities are modern and easily accessible, with helpful staff and accurate maps. The choice of exhibitions is so varied, with something for everyone to see and enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the 'Scale of Our War' exhibit, with the uniqueness of the 2.4x scale figures being particularly special. The cafe was great for a nice lunch too. You could easily spend a whole day here, or just pop in for an exhibit or too, but if you're in Wellington it's a must!

We visited on a weekday and it was super busy - and understandably so. The Maori section, the exhibit on Gallipoli and the Art gallery were all highlights. A must do whilst in Wellington.

Could have spend a whole day here. 2 hours was all we had... not enough. This really is a must when you are in Wellington.

A lot to see here but didn't get enough time to do it justice, great for a day visit. Lots of history and a comfortable place to look through.
