We visited with a school group of 10 - 12 year olds and had a presentation by a very interesting staff member about the Wahine Disaster. She skilfully managed to bring the disaster to life for the children and touched them all with aspects of how it must have been for those on board and those watching from the shore. The museum is interesting, and even better if you have a passionate staff member to bring history to life.
