Katherine Mansfield reinvented the short story and gave Virginia Woolf a new way of writing. This house on Tinakori Road became the location of some of her most important stories including: "Prelude," "The Wind Blows," and "The Samuel Josephs." The house has been meticulously restored and one must connect with Mansfield if one wants to know a lot more about NZ.
