We stayed here again on 17-18 May 2014, and enjoyed it very much as always. We've been coming here for years and the staff spoil us rotten, so very nice that they remember us and make us welcome. We now purchase a room on the club floor if we can, as these are beautiful large rooms with a bath, full toiletries, robes etc, and access to the club lounge makes you feel that you're really having a holiday. I would recommend these rooms as very good value for money. The staff in the club lounge are so helpful, and the cocktail hour provides lovely food and drinks which is very nice. The hotel is always well maintained, clean, a little bit luxurious but at a reasonable price. The staff are so helpful and flexible in accommodating any needs like an early breakfast which we asked for. Very much appreciated, and highly recommended.

Nice hotel but the rooms are quite small. Clean and good decor but traffic noise is audible on west side of building. Room service is very expensive for basic things. Ie. paying a premium for steamed veggies that were clearly pre-cut and previously frozen.

Over all it worked as a one-night business stop.

Room Tip: Internet only lets you use 1 device at a time, so don't expect to be able to have a laptop and smartphone working at same time.

This hotel is well placed for eating and shopping. There is an elevator down to Lambton Quay, where there is a plethora of decent quality shoe and clothing stores.
The hotel gym has good quality functioning equipment for those wanting to workout. Room wise, these are a good size with good lighting. My bathroom was quite generous in size, had a bath and great lighting. Overall there was plenty of storage space inc 2 sets of drawers. The work desk had some useful things like paperclips and a stapler. McDonalds, New Metro supermarket and Subway also close by. I did eat a snack style meal in the hotel lobby area, and it was quite good and well priced. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Great location, the best pillows ever!!!! And very clean. This would have to be one of the jewels in Wellington. Stayed two nights and loved it. Unusual lift system that can be a bit confusing but all good once you get the hang of it.
Thoroughly recommending every way. Due to an early flight we ate at the restaurant and had buffet breakfast. To be honest, not great service they could do better in this respect. Refilled my own coffee up after I searched around... Plates were not taken away in any haste. For $31.00 per head you expect some level of service. Apart from that great stay.

I hope that we will see you back to stay with us again in the near future.

This hotel is our go-to when we visit Wellington, as it has a prime location in the heart of Lambton Quay, making it easy to get around the city. We had a lovely Terrace view, two comfy double beds and a large clean bathroom- what more could you want?
