Have had a couple of coffees here recently - always insipid trim flat whites.
However what sparked this review was a recent Sunday morning breakfast that I had there, that was not great and needs comment. I ordered 'Salmon Eggs' ie Scrabbled Eggs (with salmon mixed through) on toast, with capers and chives, and dressed roquette. At first on the eggs/salmon on toast came out - we had to ask for the rest of the dish. Next step only the rocket came out on a separate plate - but we never saw any sign of the capers/chives.
Sad really that you have to chase up to get all the food that was described on the menu. So the chef had forgotten to add half the ingredients to the plate - didn't the wait staff also notice the dish was rather minimal as well?
The Salmon Eggs dish was just dreary and disappointing. The themed "Southwest USA and Mexican cuisine" definitely didn't come through on this dish! Given all the staff working there - you would think a better dish could have been delivered.
Won't go to this venue again.
