Have had a couple of coffees here recently - always insipid trim flat whites.

However what sparked this review was a recent Sunday morning breakfast that I had there, that was not great and needs comment. I ordered 'Salmon Eggs' ie Scrabbled Eggs (with salmon mixed through) on toast, with capers and chives, and dressed roquette. At first on the eggs/salmon on toast came out - we had to ask for the rest of the dish. Next step only the rocket came out on a separate plate - but we never saw any sign of the capers/chives.

Sad really that you have to chase up to get all the food that was described on the menu. So the chef had forgotten to add half the ingredients to the plate - didn't the wait staff also notice the dish was rather minimal as well?

The Salmon Eggs dish was just dreary and disappointing. The themed "Southwest USA and Mexican cuisine" definitely didn't come through on this dish! Given all the staff working there - you would think a better dish could have been delivered.

Won't go to this venue again.

This was my second trip to Thunderbird with a group of friends for Sunday brunch - although there were some issues the first time we went, today more than made up for it!
The waitress who served us was very attentive and friendly, the kitchen was happy to cater to our dietry requirements, and the food was really yummy! We were really taken care of, which was lovely! Thank you Nicci, you were wonderful! I look forward to my next visit :)

We went there on a recommendation of a friend. Upon walking in, was unsure about staying. Glass on food cabinet so dirty and smeared. Sat down anyway. Two other groups arrived at same time as us. Took ages for someone to come and take our order. Waitress obviously very new and I felt sorry for her - obviously thrown in at the deep end. Wrote three tables orders on a serviette! Came back to us 15 minutes later for clarrification as couldn't read her writing! We were in a hurry, so not really pleased order hadn't even gone in to kitchen. After 25 minutes went up to Barista to see if they were our drinks sitting there. He didn't even have our order. After about 45 minutes got our food - had asked at other tables if it was their order, before eventually giving it to us. Food quality fair. Disappointed we ate there when so many other good places to choose from. Act on first instincts - looks dirty - leave. Hope the poor waitress has had some training and support since our visit, mustn't be nice having to say "I'm sorry" every time she comes to the table.

I just wanted a small tasty breakfast. Ordered the fish stack. Whilst nice enough the single piece of fish was miserly and could have done with the dish being a little more tasty. Great staff and nice place though

We were staying across the road and stumbled into this cafe by convenience but I'm so glad we did! They said they did the best milkshakes in town, and they weren't kidding- peanut butter or bacon and maple syrup flavour milkshakes :) Breakfasts were good too, especially breakfast burrito. Staff were friendly and quirky and the whole place had a very eclectic cool vibe. Definitely worth a look.
