There seems to be a trend amongst eateries recently of making burgers without putting a lot of thought into how wide the human mouth can actually open. I don't think Joe's Garage got that memo.
Their burgers are fantastic, and exactly what a burger should be - simple, home-made (don't use a processed patty), not ridiculously vertical, and delicious. I've fallen in love with their beef and bacon number. All burgers are served with hand-cut fries that are also very tasty and complement the burgers very well indeed. The burgers are available as part of their lunch/dinner menu, alongside a number of other dishes that I can't vouch for - except the schnitzel, which was a huge portion, and good, but eclipsed by the burgers.
They coffee they serve up is also great, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
It can get VERY busy around brunch time on weekends, so be warned.
