Great Cafe style Restaurant (only open in the evening five days a week) - great local sourced product well cooked and presented with more than a touch of the "head to tail" in the approach. We absolutely loved it. a bit out of the way being in Miramar (near Seatoun) or Wellywood to some.

We had. Great brunch there. Stylish menu at a high level. The pork belly, black pudding hash was a real highlight. Good coffee too. Thanks.

there are surprisingly relatively (compared to dinner) few options for brunch in wellington. It is a constant search for a good place to start the morning....and then we found the Larder!! Everything is seriously cool from the service, seating to the menu ....the usual brunchy thing plus some more interesting things like belly pork.... and then you get the food and you get that there is a difference between chefs and cafe cooks!!! We now have a place for serious breaking of fasts!!

Breakfasts with a twist - better flavours and presentations - slick service- try the premises-made parpadelle pasta ribbons or some of the delicious bakery items and bread - takeaway or dine in - and of course excellent coffee. Lovely refurbished corner house as setting for cafe.

The Larder is a gem in the middle of suburbia. Just up the road frpm the Weta Cave, it offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner on some days, plus delicious counter food to eat with excellent coffee. I liked how the cafe felt cosy, without being cramped. There was plenty of space between the tables, which were also a decent size.

We went for a Sunday afternoon coffee, and tried various baked goodies, which were all delicious. My cranberry and chocolate kugelhopf was very light and moist, and definitely something I'd eat again.

Our experience at The Larder was so enjoyable, we're talking about making the trip out there again for dinner.
