We needed space for a group of 10 on a Sunday night and Duke Carvell's came to the rescue. We decided to leave the food choices up to the kitchen and after confirming a price per head ($40) sat back to see what would come out. The highlight of the three entrees was their signature flaming cheese with grilled bread - superb. The main course was a huge slow-cooked leg of lamb and a paella to share with plenty of sides as well. We enjoyed some great wines and beers from the extensive list with our meal. The food was so generous we couldn't possibly have squeezed in dessert. Our only niggle was that the venue was incredibly hot. Yes it was summer but a fan to move the air around would have been great. Great food, a relaxed atmosphere and good beer. We'll be back!
