It's almost hiding in plain sight but persist up the stairs to get to this curious place. Mainly cocktails on offer but they did have something ale like on tap. Expensive and not somewhere I'd spend the whole evening but very enjoyable.

... and a drink in Wellington. I discovered this place by chance - the entrance is almost hidden- and I immediately loved it. Books everywhere (although it would be advisable to remove some dust), possibility to have a nice drink (although a little bit expensive). The coffee is good but it is served in very small cups. I would widen the list of available sweets.

We enjoyed our tapas plates (4 between 3 was just right). The dessert was particularly special (shared plate for two and churros). Don't let the access put you off - the upstairs setting is very pleasant. We plan to return with friends, and think we have a new favourite.

We are a volunteer group who meet regularly at the Library Bar because it is in a convenient location and perfect for our needs. We get great service although prices are on the high side but the compensation is we get to use the front room which is perfect for us to have guest speakers with projector and screen without disturbing other clients at the Library. The other plus is the comfortable seating and no 'big screen' or over-bearing background music . We notice that the smaller more intimate areas where friends can chill out in a more private way are very popular.
