“Good but can get very busy”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

The place is good and is one of the few decent cafes at the Willis end of Lambton Quay, but it does get VERY busy during lunch time and then it can be a bit of a struggle to find a spot to sit in. The food is usually good and most of it is made on premises. The lunch options are usually good.

“Review time”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Great spot for a business meeting. A little dark down stairs and service slower than would have expected. Food selection limited and not that exciting looking. The sparrows added a nice homely/patio type feel.

“Great breakfast spot”
Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

Had the big cooked breakfast which was expensive at $20 but very nice. My wife had muesli and a cup of tea, with an OJ for me it came to $40 which is pricy.
Nice ambience, constant flow of customers for dine in and takeaway coffee. Enjoyed and probably will return

“Best eggs benedict in Wellington in my opinion”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

Crisp hashbrowns and bacon, soft yolk eggs and silky hollandaise. And simply the normal excellent coffee. Nice team of young baristas with welcoming smiles.

“excellent coffee ghastly fritatta”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Have often visited this cafe for coffee when in Wellington great ambience. This time I ordered the vege fritatta what a mistake. This was mostly potato could not find anyother veges except a bit of sundried tomato decorating the top. There was no tast to this I did not bother to have more than a mouthful. The chutney???? served with it was also a tasteless dob of something with a wishy washy colour. Have a coffee there and enjoy the ambience.
