Had an enjoyable meal at this fun restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. My meal was a wee bit spicey and they happily discussed an alternative which was really yummy.

Good food, great service - would definitely go again.

This restaurant is the place to go for that meal before a movie or a big night out! You are seated with others on big tables and watch the chefs work away to cook the most yummiest meals. It is situated in a central spot on the waterfront so easy to get to and easy to find. This is a different type of dining that will appeal to those who want a reasonable meal with that point of difference.

Dined twice here during our time in Wellington... Couldn't fault food, great flavours and well presented. Ambience and decor modern and inviting with stunning harbour views. We opted to share a variety of small tapas like tasting dishes which was a great way to experience a variety of food & flavours.

We found the staff generally young and a little off beat but very hospitable, attentive and entertaining. Must try duck dumplings and also panko banana dessert.

Highly recommend this place.

It won't break the bank to come here but it doesn't surprise you either. It is nice to be on the waterfront.

I've eaten at Wagamama in Wellington on and off now for the past five years, and I have formed the opinion that the quality of service has slipped . My last visit there, for lunch last Sunday, didnt leave a great impression. The food itself is ok, its competitvly priced compared to many Wellington restaurants and the view is good but the service just gets worse and each time I dine there. They were prompt serving us, but then it took an age to get served even though there was hardly anyone in the place. We had to get the attention of a waitress who was busy cleaning tables to get our order taken, then they they forgot our water. The head waitress gave the distinct impression she didnt want to be there. Not sure if Id bother going back.
