We ate here twice in a row and it was busy and lively each evening. This place has a good buzz. The food is good, the wine well chosen but what makes it really work is that the service is notable. Staff were consistently attentive and exceptionally good spirited. My youngest daughter was given iced water as a courtesy even though she didn't order anything whilst waiting at the bar for our table. There seems to be some secret signal going on as to when people need attention and I had the impression that, either by luck or design, everyone seemed to know what was going on and what needed to be done. Menu options are good. The vegetarian gnocchi was excellent. Everyone else loved their pizzas and as for the hot chocolate. Oh em gee. It is a food group all of its own. Try one. Even if you feel too full for pudding, just squeeze it in, one delicious secret recipe spoon full at a time. All in all a nice family restaurant.
