Ohtel is really well located and the rooms are nice. Our real complaint is with the bathrooms. I'm not sure what is with this new design fad to have glass like walls separating the bathroom from the rest of the room and a cloth 'door' that you can pull to cover the door area. I asked if any other rooms had doors to the bathroom and was told that all the rooms were the same no rooms had bathroom doors. I am hoping I hear wrong because it's a nice enough place but it doesn't matter how close I am to my friends or partner I have no desire to hear absolutely everything they're doing in the bathroom. We stayed in very nice places across North Island and this was one of the pricier ones mainly because of Wellington prices so If you can get past the bathroom issue it's a fine place to stay.
