Nice place to eat, chicken livers were good and the chowder had that much whole seafood plonked in it I couldn't finish it. Compared to other reviews here, my waitress actually knew the specials and was very good. Nice location, can walk your meal off at the waterfront across the road.

The service from our waitress was poor from the start as she fumbled through the specials which were filled with 'I think...' and 'I fairly sure...'. The main of Lamb Shanks was delivered with piping hit meat but bizarrely cold and crumbly potato mash with cold broccoli and cauliflower wedged under the meat almost as a afterthought. The waitress did enquire as to whether out meals were okay but literally turned and left without comment as I was mentioning the varied temperatures on my plate. To be fair, the lamb itself was very tender and fell off the bone. Our evening concluded with us leaving our table to pay the bill only to be asked whether we wanted dessert while on our way to the service counter.

Let down by the service and varied food quality, we would not return here.

Both of us really enjoyed our dining experience.. Great service with a smile:)
deliciously tasty, huge-portioned sized meals and relaxing, unobtrusive background music.

If we had to mention any issues? ..
just that not all the mussels in the Green Lipped Mussel dish were debearded (most of them had been) but I must say that the mussels were the plumpest & juiciest that we have encountered for a while.. delicious!
Also, a slight wobble in our table! Apart from that..
The meal was Amazing & great value for money.

It was Sunday night with few people around so as the restaurant had no more than about dozen diners the service was as good as it gets. Whether that's representative or not I've no idea. But the food was certainly very good. I chose one of my favourites - puttanesca - it was close to perfect. They even served it on a hot plate which I like. Why don't more restaurants do this!

First we and other guests were not met by front of house staff we waited by the menu as staff wandered by and ignored us. When we did approach the bar after some minutes staff were pleasant.
Ran out of scallops for the special entree early in night - not a good look.
Meals were very nice. Chicken mignon and risotto both well prepared, although slightly bland for a Mediterranean fare restaurant e.g. No garlic in risotto. Mushroom sauce in mignon did taste like the canned variety.
Staff pleasant enough, once you had approached them.
