We had a lovely meal here and the service was friendly and attentive. it was a full restaurant and there were no delays with the meals and all served within reasonable time. My duck main fell off the bone it was so tender and the brulee perfect. They even gave my husband a free mud cake with candle for his birthday, which was so lovely and unexpected. I would recommend highly

Went there on a Monday night. Was not particularly busy, maybe one-third full, but the food -- a seafood soup and pasta with vegetables -- took about an hour. Asked the waitress what the status of the order was after 35-40 mins and she walked off and never provided an update. One of the few places I have ever considered leaving, the wait was so long. Would never go back.

Been here several times over 13 years, but havent been for about 3 years. It was always an old favourite of ours but this place is much better than it was when run by the previous owner. The menu is smaller, which is a good thing as there was just too much to choose from before. Excellent food. Had 2 entrees each, mussels, calomari and chicken livers. All excellent and sticky date pudding and my husband had cheesecake which were both very tasty. The waiter was one of the best we have come across for sometime, did everything right in an unobtrusive manner, which can be rare in some establishments. We will certainly come back soon to this old fav of ours. Keep up the high standard!

Dropped by this place on a Friday evening after walking the length of the restaurant strip on the Strand to see what was available. Despite the name there is little if anything that is Greek or Roman about the place and we chose to eat here largely because we were too hungry to walk back, so decided to give it a try.

The food was perfectly good. We had a salad and confit of duck with a bottle of Hawkes Bay Pinot Gris which replenished us well. The salad was mountainous. The duck was very well prepared and presented, tender and moist.

No complaints either about the service which was brisk and efficient.

Nothing, however, to make you sit up and say this is somewhere to come back to.
