We stayed 2 nights at Tauranga Lodge and the only complaint we had was that we had to leave! The view, décor, hosts Karla and John, are "up there with the best" Nothing is a trouble for them and the breakfasts and dinner we enjoyed, were superb. Even drinks at 6.30 with Karla and John were so enjoyable as well as the 'nibbles' provided by these two lovely people. The property is about 20 mins drive from Tauranga but central to so many wonderful attractions in the area. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this gorgeous B&B and certainly would return!

Room tip: We stayed in the Pukeko Suite and loved it, particularly being able to leave the curtains and door open enjoying the view and the lavender just outside the door. Perfectly private.

We really appreciate your review from your recent stay with us. It is wonderful that the memory of Tauranga Lodge lingers in your thoughts as a great place to stay. For us the detail, the comfort, and the little extras are all part of the experience which we love doing.
It was great that we were able to give you just a little taste of the gourmet delights the Bay of Plenty region has to offer and look forward to sharing more of this with you on another occasion.

What a beautiful accommodation, with such amazingly breath taking views.
The hosts are very friendly and are willing to go that extra mile.
I stayed there the first night of being a newly wed. Very comfortable and accommodating, would stay there again and recommend to all.

It was so special to play a small part in helping make your wedding day special.
It is always a privilege to help couples create memories for their wedding day which last a life time.
We hope it wasn’t to big a shock for you mum and dad when they arrived back in Holland.
Look forward to seeing you back for the next celebration.

Tauranga Lodge is one of the best places I have stayed in New Zealand. It's a little paradise. The view is amazing, the rooms are luxurious, very clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast and Dinner are marvellous and Karla and John are great hosts. They help whenever they can and are very nice and friendly people. Couldn't be better. Thank you to them for the great time I had there.
I can highly recommend this lodge to everybody. The perfect place to relax and to discover the Tauranga area or even for a trip to Rotorua.

It was super that you picked Tauranga and the Tauranga Lodge for your break, so often visitors will just allow one day sight seeing and as you found out in the three days you stayed with us, there is so much to do and many adventures to be had in the bay.
Thank you again and hopefully we will see you in the future.
Have a safe trip back home to Germany.

I stayed at the Tauranga Lodge with my partner for our summer holiday. The accommodation was fitting with the view - amazing. We were able to relax and enjoy the lodge, even playing a bit of croquet on new years. Karla and John have created a travelers haven here with luxury accommodation and delectable breakfasts.

With the nature of the BnB we were able to meet travelers from afar and share stories and what tourist attractions were top notch in the area.

Our hosts Karla and John were a pleasure to stay with and were knowledgeable, warm and friendly.

I would highly recommend the Tauranga Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

It was marvellous you were able to stay with us over New Year and experience the city fireworks at midnight New Years Eve as it is quite something.

For us to share a table with people from all over the world is very special and to see individual travellers enjoying one another’s company is such a buzz for us.

My partner organised for us to stay at the Tauranga Lodge this Jan, and it was amazing.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and generous with great decor. Top marks Karla and John.

Not only did we wake up to amazing views of Tauranga and the Mount but there was freshly cooked pancakes one morning, french toast the next or a continental breakfast when we ate too much! Karla and John went out of their way on more than one occasion, even making us lunch for us to snack on while dolphin watching. They also recommended some great attractions which we ended up doing and thoroughly enjoyed.

We wholly enjoyed our stay at the Tauranga Lodge and would definitely stay there again the next time we're in Tauranga.

It was a delight to read your review and be apart of helping your partner plan your birthday surprise!
To help make your experience in the Bay a happy memorable one has made our day.

It was wonderful that you were able to stay for 5 day and really get to see all the wonderful attractions we have to offer in the Bay of Plenty. Look forward to having you back anytime and will definitely have the Pan Cakes and French toast ready to go!
