We stayed here as part of a group on Anniversary weekend and we stayed in a self contained cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. My first impression when I walked into the cabin was the sense of how clean it was, and this was typical of how we found the whole campsite, including the communal kitchen. Has great pools and a nice play ground for our son to play in.

The only thing I didn't like was on our final night coming home after dinner to find that a dog had pooed twice outside our unit. When I advised reception they quickly came and cleaned it up, but it would be nice if you didn't have to worry about this. Otherwise we found it a nice place to stay.

Also if your looking for somewhere to eat, we found the Omokoroa Bistro at the Yacht Club did excellent meals and was great value for money and kid friendly also.

Nothing is more relaxing for tired travelers riding around New Zealand's amazing surroundings, than to come here! After too many hours in the car, we came here and didn't do anything else but relax and rest by cooking our own meals and enjoying the pools during our stay. The pools were really nice, especially in the evening when it's dark around, but the park is nicely illuminated and the stars can be seen in the sky. This place was clean, kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. We left this park relaxed and happy.

I had the good fortune of tagging on to a family holiday last week at this holiday park and it was fabulous. My friend and I booked a unit for the week and we were delighted when we arrived to find an extremely clean, modern unit with all the facilities that we could've wished for! Bruce the owner was great and couldn't do more for us. The location is fabulous for trips into nearby Bethlehem, Tauranga and of course the lovely Mt Maunganui. I couldn't recommend this place more. The thermal pools are lovely and clean and superb to relax in in the evening or early morning.

Room Tip: We stayed in family unit 2A and it was delightful. My brothers and sisters and their families stay i...

A very peaceful place for a holiday. The units and facilities are very clean and well maintained. There is a large covered BBQ area with a great playground beside to keep the children amused. With a heated pool and units for disabled everyone is catered for. We especially liked the units being stand alone. All seemed to have there own private outdoor area. Gardens immaculate. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. We will return.

I was in NZ over a decade ago and I visited this park and had very fond memories of it. Preparing for this trip I was unable to remember where it was or what it was called. Fortunately (that's a massive understatement) my wife and I picked it accidentally after driving around looking for a nice campsite and it made me very happy to find myself back here.
This is one of the Kiwi chain of parks and is therefore absolutely guaranteed to reach a high standard of facilities. There are cabins and bungalows and campsites here and the real star of the show is the the three geothermal hot pools which are the best way ever to relax after a hard days tourism. I can't recommend this park highly enough. Omokoroa is fantastic, if you visit, do the long walk round the peninsular.
