We went with our two young kids on the Glow Worm Tour and we had an amazing time. Grant was great- very accommodating and made the trip feel very personalised to our needs and at our pace.
My husband has been on 2 other glow worm tours and he said that Grant's was much better due to the fact we got really close to the glow worms and it was a very small group, we passed lots of larger groups on the way back and were glad we booked with Grant!
I also think this is the best value for money and it was so peaceful and relaxing- we will be booking again with Grant, that's for sure!

We arrived in Tauranga on a cruise ship in January 2012. We had pre-booked a day of kayaking, biking, blokarting and touring with Grant but unfortunately due to the weather our day was a little different - thank goodness for Grant's flexibility. Despite the change in plans this was a fabulous day. Grant showed us the beautiful countryside in the area, we did the zorb experience and went blokarting (highly recommended by the way), had the best pies in the world, saw some waterfalls, gorgeous lakes, thermal village, a country fair (with lawn mower racing), etc etc. Nothing was too difficult for Grant and we were provided with plenty of options for what we could do. His knowledge is extensive and he is keen to share his love of New Zealand and this area. If you are after a more personal tour and experience Grant is highly recommended.

This cool resort town has a lot to offer any tourist and it was my first stop on my Holland America cruise of N.Z. and Australia. This beautiful inlet has the mount Maunganui Mauao Historic Reserve as it's crown jewel which i hiked up and ran across some amazing almost stone like looking solitary trees lower down where the sheep were grazing, tropical plants and shrubs plus heard and caught a brief glimpse of the talented Tui bird. The climb to the top took me around forty five minutes but be warned when you get past the half way point it gets very steep in a hurry a great way to get some excercise but the view from the top is fantastic but be careful the cliff face on the one side is a straight drop down. There were also park reserve guys at the top when i got there who had driven there up a windy dirt road one was repelling down the vertical face on the one side wearing climber gear helmet, pick axe, gloves e.t.c. from a mechanical winch in the back of their pick up truck which was secured by rope to a large boulder..safety first. There is also beautiful sandy beaches two different sides and buses to take you over to the main area of town where there is a big shopping mall,a small library, numerous restaurants i have say that this was my fave stop in the whole of New Zealand.Captain Cook discovered this beautiful place in the late 1700's and liked it i and many others can see why!

Grant Bradley gave our gourp of 14 seniors a wonderful tour of Tauranga. We were on Celebrity Century from Auckland to Sydney and we were looking for a private personal tour. What an awesome day. Grant loves what he does and we all could tell that he enjoyed showing us around his country.
He even stopped for us to get a bite of local pies and the small place he took us was a wonderful bakery with all the great choices of pies and sweets to eat.
I would highly recommend Grant. He was excellent and our small group appreciated not having big crowds that cruise ship tours have.
Don't hesitate having him for your private guide. We worked everything out prior to arrival and we did exactly what we had planned to do. Great day!!!! Thanks

As passengers on a cruise ship, we booked Grant's tour in advance to go kayaking, biking, blokarting and touring. Unfortunately, when the ship pulled into port, the storm was so bad that all the activities had to be scratched. However, Grant put together a great day of seeing the local sights, history of the area and even part of our group went luging in the pouring rain...which they really enjoyed. One of the highlights was stopping at a local bakery and tasting the meat pies..yummo!!! We arrived back on time after the day's tour.
