We had lunch at the Tipsy Trout yesterday and we were very impressed with the quality of the meals and the service. We were already in a positive mood as we were visiting Kinloch for the first time and found it a really scenic and peaceful spot. The marina was nice to walk around on a sunny Monday morning. In the Tipsy Trout the people in our party had a big breakfast, seafood chowder and a lovely home made sausage roll with salad. The portions were generous and the food was appetising. The wood burning fire and the frIendly service made for a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. We lingered for a flat white which stood up well against the coffees I have in Auckland. A very nice experience !
