New owners are fantastic, rooms are SPOTLESS, bed comfy, breakfast exceeded expectations and set me up for the day,. Very obliging and will definitely be going back there on my next trip, and also spreading the word.

Room Tip: upstairs has a stunning view of the 3 mountains, you can sit on the deck and watch the sunset......

My travels are often arranged fairly last minute, so I use reviews given by previous guests on trip advisor as a helping hand selecting a place to stay. It works rather well I reckon.
The lady at the front desk even arranged a parking place for my motorcycle right outside my room, even though this park didn't belong to my room.
Room itself was modern, clean and well appointed. Happy to recommend for a traveller who wants a quiet nights' sleep.

The rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed with a few thoughtful touches such as renewal of sachets of ground coffee each day. We had an upstairs room from which you had a view of the lake and mountains in the distance. There is also a really good cafe, Zest, just across the road. Downside is the cost of WiFi. Free first 100mb but then 7 cents per mb after. Not a problem is you are there one night but if your visit is for longer, you end up paying.

The new hosts had only arrived the day before us but could not do enough to help. If they did not know the answer to a question straight away they quickly found out. On our last morning they even drove us to the coach stop. The accommodation was of a good standard being clean and roomy. The location is well placed for both the lake and the town. A slight problem is WiFi which has to be paid for and seems to be used up rapidly. There are however over 50 T.V. channels. A relaxing and pleasant place to stay.

We were pleased to find that while economical the Ascot was roomy and tasteful with a spa bath. They were extremely helpful with directions, maps and brochures abduction even provided a discount voucher for the local thermal pools.
