“Nothing special ”
Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

Went to the huka falls today. Parked in the car park .crossed a bridge where the water was fast moving. Went for the walk to the right. Thought this was up to the water fall. But the water seemed to get calmer and calmer as we went along. After about 30/40 mins we decided to call it a day.
If you've some free time pop by but don't worry if you miss it

“Well worth driving up to”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

The Falls are free to visit and actually are more of a white water spectacle rushing through narrow rocks. A magnificent sight!

“Small but powerful falls”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

With no expectations visited the falls. Expected really tall falls, but they were small in size. The power of the falls was instead fascinating with the amount of water cascading over the falls. Worth a stop as it doesn't take long to see them.

“Absolute must!”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Never ceases to disappoint. Better if its been raining! Take care on the track as it can get slippery. Well fenced and very secure for children
