My mom and I stopped here to eat lunch and the food, while slightly different, was fantastic! After we ate we walked around the grounds to view the artwork. It was a unique find and would recommed it to anyone!

We visited L'Arte during a recent trip to Taupo, really enjoyed the cafe and garden grounds and thought the gallery was ok. Much of the artwork is a highly colorful scheme that does match its environs well, we did have trouble thinking about how any of these pieces would work in our home. However, they may have fit perfectly at other visitors' places and outdoor gardens.

Overall, the pieces were interesting, creative and worth having a look if you are intending to dine at the very good cafe on the L'Arte grounds. However, I don't think we would drive out from Taupo just to have a look at the gallery, especially if staying a short amount of time on the lake.

This gorgeous unusual little cafe is well worth the short drive out of Taupo. It is also hands-down the best brunch we have had in New Zealand! (we have had a lot of brunch). A must-visit.

If you are staying in Taupo or even passing through for a coffee or lunch this is a great place for a stop over. It's slightly off the the beaten track but well worth the extra 10 minute drive. My daughter and I went for brunch and coffee and to look at the hand created art and craft. It's different to anywhere else and has a lovely garden to stroll through. The owners and employees have worked hard to give this place a great ambience and it is very friendly. Loved it and will definitely go again.

Well worth the Visit ,and The Concrete /Ceramic settee and arm chair are a work of Art in them self` s let alone the ceramic flowers ,all Kiwi Made at the studio on site .and heaps of works for sale at reasonable prices
If you are going visit its better during the week OR get there early on Saturday as the Café set arrive ,and although there is ample parking ,The larger camper vans were parking on the side of the road .
on a scale of 1 to 5 ( 5 being the highest )this is a definite 5 ,with no pressure to buy ,The Views on the Journey to get there and while there ,are a site to see The Bay on one side and Country and hills on the other ,just a little further on down the road ,if you like field, hills and Paddocks ,is all that ' Wordsworth" could use
The Cafe on site is serving light Snacks and Beverages again at reasonable prices All Definitely a 5 out of 5
