What a great find. After weeks traveling in Australia and New Zealand, we wanted something different. This fit the bill--a great selection of wines and wonderful food. The Vine Eatery gave us several palette pleasing small plates that offered complex and compelling flavors. The servers were friendly and informative, and the ambiance a nice mix of casual but refined. The dishes are meant to be shared. The menu suggests two dishes per person, but we found three dishes for two of us to be more than enough. We started with a Mediterranean salad with prawns, artichoke hearts, asparagus and greens lightly dressed. It was scrumptious. Our next dish was the salmon. The topping was a spicy capsicum blend that was full of flavor but didn't overwhelm the salmon. Out third dish was the Aubergine--a great blend of slow roasted eggplant and tomato mix atop crostinni with grilled haloumi. All three of the dishes were superb. It was terrific to discover a restaurant that offered small plates, well-priced, and delicious.
