Can get busy around the city but the further you go the quieter. Watch out for fast roadbike users though

A lovely walkway for a scenic trek on foot or bike. Great for exercise, mindfulness or just being one with nature. Lovely spots to sit and contemplate along the way.

if you want to take a walk, this is the place to go...it's wide enough that you never feel crowded, but there people jogging - biking - skateboarding along with you. At regular intervals somewhere to sit and also exits off to who knows where. The walkway is to be extended but a must do if possible is the Rewarewa Bridge as shown in this photo....If you stand at certain points you can get the mountain in the profile with the bridge archway...

A beautiful well maintained walkway with beautiful views of the ocean and a stunning bridge.
Suitable for pedestrians or cyclists.
On a fine day a pleasure to walk

Loved the distance that was available on the walkway, mostly raw coastal beauty with crisp fresh air, enjoyed my skateboard for some, but ideal for bike!!
