“Great way to see the New Plymouth Coastline”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2014

Whoever was able to get this done should be lauded for their vision. New Plymouth seems to have an uneasy relationship with the coast, a moderately sized city for New Zealand, that seems to be situated on a long sweeping coastline. The Walkaway brings the city and the coast together, connecting them and making sense of it all. Walking or biking the wide pathway reviews the more private bays , river outlets and interesting typography and on a bright sunny day produces scenery that is quite stunning. However, the black sand can make it seem quite bleak when its overcast.

A good number of residents seem to make use of it, running, biking or just for a walk, and it appears to be quite accessible.

A definite must do if you are around New Plymouth.
