just awesome food, we got the beef steak, lamp leg, lamp hamburger, & salmon. all were good. You have to order from the bar & the food take about 30-40 minutes to come to the table, but worth the wait. Really good food.

Fed here twice this trip. Both times great service, great food. Typical pub, noisy, tv's all over and plenty of people enjoying themselves. We tried the fish (Tarakihi), excellent, but have it pan fried rather than battered. The Guinness pie was as much as I could manage, delectable beef and mushrooms, and the curly fries are magical. Well recommended.

We had free beer vouchers so decided to check out this pub. We were greeted by friendly staff and a varied menu. The prices seemed quite high, but as we had a free drink we felt we would eat there. I ordered from the light meal section of the menu but the meal was still huge! It was very nice though, and so was my partners, so it seemed like good value when you saw the size of the meal.

Nice food would recommend.

We ate here on one night and found it to be excellent both in quality & quantity. There was a good choice of menu. For anyone from the UK the beer is even more expensive than at home. A pint & a half came to £8!

I went here for dinner as it was recommended by the motel I am staying in. I must say I wasn't overly impressed when they brought out one of their signature dishes, the crumbed schnitzel and it was way overlooked nearly burnt and of course it was as dry as a boot. Putting a massive amount of mash and overlooked veges doesn't make it any better. Smaller portions of well cooked food would be much better. The nearly covered my whole plate with the mash. Next time I will try another spot
