Was very satisfied my stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. the venue is ideally situated near town but with a feel of not being right in town. Wonderful views . All in all a very pleasant stay.

We were very impressed with Ibis Rotorua. From the moment we checked in, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and as had been described online. During our stay, the staff were very responsive to requests - certainly delivering on their commitment to attending to requests within 15mins!

Nice view out of my window. terrible television at least 20years old.
Very limited in terms of utensils, bought back Thai takeaways and had nothing to eat them with.
Staff were very nice, breakfast continental was $17, very expensive.
Room was very tiny and crammed with two double beds side by side. However I slept like a log both nights. Very quiet and peaceful.

Wegot a great rate for this hotel. NZD 75 for a double room. At first we were given a room with 2 double beds, which meant there was no room to move, so we rang and asked reception for one with a king bed and they immediately offered to move us.

The hotel is close to the lake, Kiurau Park and downtown area so it's easy to walk to everything. We didn't eat at the hotel, and didn't pay for he lake view upgrade. To be honest, the view of the lake is better from outside anyway. The other rooms all look at the trees growing on the rack wall across the road, so it's not like you are staring at another hotel.

We would stay again. There was also loads of free parking on the street.

Room Tip: If there are only 2 people ask them for a king room.
