Stunning walk around the lake. Takes about 40mins. Really easy to do. I suggest parking close to the bathroom and going around clockwise. Then you do the nasty tar road bit first, takes about ten mins and then the rest is in nature.

Blue Lake is always a must stop if your a local, newbie or just want a dip in the water.
Blue Lake is said to have healing powers, locals come and swim in the lake to heal skin conditions, muscle tightness etc.

Other than the crystal clear waters the scenery around the lake is picturesque.

Easy family walk around the lake, mainly in bush. Occasional glimpses of the lake. Clear tracks. Easy parking.

Visited this track for a loop 5-6km run one morning. The track isn't the easiest for a morning run, running through trees with branches that have grown onto the track and not the flattest terrain. Still enjoyable with a challenge and stunning view. Fantastic for a walk, good for a run if you're up for it

Enjoyed the walk round the lake, most of it in the shade under the canopy of the vegetation. Interesting to see some of the huge pine trees & giant fern trees perched precariously on the steep gradient. Started & finished the walk at the main car park with toilet facilities. There's a look out point at the car park on the far side, from where you can see both the Blue & the Green lakes.
