Really enjoyed walking through these gardens on a recent visit to Rotorua. Unfortunately the Blue Baths were closed but still admired the buildings architecture. The gardens are immaculately presented and very colourful this time of year (Jan). Did not realise there was a bowling club there though - somewhat strange llocation for it but doesn't really detract I suppose. Don't often see such manicured gardens.

Unfortunately the museum was shut when we were there but it was an amazing building worth seeing. Also some hot pools nearby and a walk along the lake behind it

This is one of Rotorua Landmarks as not far from McDonald or Countdown.

We did come a little bit early in downtown since we must take coach to Hobbiton from their office around 7:30 am.

There were many places including shopping stores or restaurants.... for sure...that’s too early. What I saw is only McDonald opening 24hr including Christmas Day (they posted this message in McDonald Rotorua).

This is public area with many old stories and long histories.

Good thing in early morning for this landmark is...you will have many nice pictures with no or less people as background.

This is very nice garden. Unfortunately government buildings were closed. You can have nice time here for several hours.

Enjoyed walking around the park looking at comparative statues, geo-thermal points of interest and of course the pretty well managed landscaped garden. Shame that the museum was closed for refurbishments
