“Pleasant stroll and great photos”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

The well-manicured gardens are a delight and offer a nice range of plants, flowers, trails, and well-kept bowling greens. Late afternoon on a sunny day will give you fabulous photo shots of the old bath house turned museum. Enjoy watching the bowlers, dressed all in white -- a sharp contrast with the intense green of the gardens. Well worth a stroll, especially on a sunnty afternoon!

“english style well kept gardens”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

When you are exhausted or looking for an attraction which doesn't cost $30 the gardens laid out in front of Rotorua Museum are well worth seeing with their manicured lawns and croquet areas they are very English with a couple of small quaint pavilions Free to view and worth a look

“Lovely little Stroll”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Nice Stroll to fill in some time before other attractions. Check out the rose garden beside the museum, its easy to miss, but beautiful when all the roses are in flower.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

It's early in the spring but there were many early flowers blooming. The area was groomed nicely, clean and we felt safe here.

“Great playground by Muesum”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

A great place to stop for lunch and have a play afterwards. Well maintained, but needed a sign to say how far away the toilets were (a long walk for little legs)
