Ask about rates for senior travellers as these are available.but not advertised.

We purchased tickets for the gondola ride only. We enjoyed the ride on the Gondola and its beautiful views. Enjoyed the experince at the cafe, jelly bean store and the gift shop. There were some good deals all round.

Enjoyed the view from the Cafe and its lovely staff and their names tags with flags of their respective home countries. The meals were good. Kids enjoyed icecream and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Purchased the foto package, very relectantly, but it was worth it.

“What goes up must come down”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

Enjoyed the journey to the top of the mountain in the 'capsule'. We then decided to do the nature walk before tobogganing down. They should hightlight the walk more particularly to young families as there was some very interesting facts along the way. The toboggan trip down was great fun. We took the 'scenic' route which was a lot quieter. The only drawback was having to go back up on the chairlift - not my cup of tea! But it was the only way back up so.... hubby then had another ride down in the toboggan. Good fun afternoon. Can understand why they offer the locals annual passes.

“good for all age”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

From small kids to grand parents, all age can enjoy this place. If your grandparents don't like Luge (tell them try!), then still they can enjoy gondola with you to go to top, and stay nice view sitting with coffee or ice-cream place while you have Luge.

What a great restaurant. On so many occasions restaurants associated with other attractions, such as this, are medicreat best. This is definitely the exception!
The trip up on the gondola is fun and gives great views of Rotorua. Once at the the restaurant you are greeted by a superb selection of cold starters ( the prawns even look as though their shells have been polished). Take your pick from prawns and/or lobster, crab cold meats etc.
Next you move on to the main course and the steaks are excellent, cooked to perfection whilst you wait and plenty of choice if steak is not your thing
We will be going to Queenstown soon and will certainly go to the Skyline there too based on this experience - watch this space

“Do it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

A must do for Rotorua! Too much fun, for all ages! Provide hours of fun, nothing like a bit of friendly competition! Is reasonably pricey, however you get breath-taking views and a lot of fun!
