“You haven't been to Rotorua if you haven't Luged !”

Great fun on the Luge - 3 different trails for first-timers to experienced; helpful staff and good equipment. The ride up the Gondola was stunning; well worth a tick in the things to do in Rotorua.

“Fun for everyone!”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Having been to skyline in Queenstown on a previous trip and loving it, we were curious how this would rate ... It is fantastic fun! The gondola ride is fun and as you get higher the views are great. The luge is one of the best I have been on as it is a longer ride than Queenstown and also Sentosa Island in Singapore ... As they say 'once is never enough" as it is a real high so definitely worth purchasing a block of rides. The cable car ride back up is great fun too .. just hold onto loose things .. we saw a mobile phone and shoe dropped along the way! We finished off with a buffet dinner at the restaurant which had something for everyone and once again, fabulous views!

“Great views and fund on the luge”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

As a family of 7, including teenagers and young children this was a great place to accommodate all of us. Loved the luge and the views were great at the top whilst drinking a great chocolate milkshake! The jellybean shop was a hit too!

“Fun for young and old”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Highly recommend, lots of fun. First you get the cable car ride up and get to enjoy the view, then the thrill of the luge ride down and then another ride up the mountain on the char lift !

“Super fun Day”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Travelled to Rotorua from Cambridge with our 7 year old grandson to do the Luge. I had packed a picnic lunch and asked at the ticket office if we were able to take it up on the gondola and eat up there - no problem, so if you have a big family, this is a good idea. The resurant has a great selection of food and all good, but with big families this just adds so much cost to the day. Better to spend the money on the luge rides which are just brilliant. Our grandson (from Perth) hadnt done this before so we went down the "Scenic" Route first and this just gave him the confidence to do the next level. Another thing, take a jersey or Jacket as it can get cold up there and the ride back up on the chair lift can be a wee bit chilly for the young ones. If you dont have a camera, there is plenty of photos taken of you during the luge ride and chair lift, so keep smiling and enjoy. cheers :-)
