Get the adrenalin pumping even more on the Zoom Zipline and the Sky Swing. Or for a more relaxed approach take a stroll through the stunning nature trails with informative and interactive panels along the way. Left feeling a little peckish? Head to the Food Market Kitchen or the Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar to fuel up again. Finish the day with an out-of-this world experience during Skyline’s Stargazing tour. It’ll have you exploring constellations and discovering planets invisible to the naked eye, at one of the top eight stargazing locations in New Zealand. The Skyline Rotorua complex is just 5 minutes’ drive from central Rotorua, sitting atop Mt Ngongotaha providing unsurpassed views of New Zealand’s coolest hot spot. “Brilliant Views”

Awesome views, shame they don't have prices for NZ locals, ie us Taurangaians.. Personally find the price too expensive so wont go again, but would recommend to go if you haven't been.

“luge was excellent, cafe was terrible”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

we loved the luge, we went for 3 runs then we went for lunch at the cafe, the food was terrible, which kind of took the shine off the place a bit but then we went back to the luge for another 2 runs which soon cheered us up again. the gondola trip is also a fun experience.

“A must do place. Buffet dinner fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

I stopped by skyline Rotorua as I was doing my tour of the northern island. I found this place to be highly entertaining, especially for the kids.
The view from this place was incredible. Also got a helicopter ride organize by Skyline. The buffet dinner really fantastic and excellent value for money, I only wish we had a place like this in Australia

“Skyline and luge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2012

From below it may not seem much, but go up there and you see the whole lake and town, up to the old volcano (Mount Tarawera) in the distance. Young and old: ride the luge! Don't take the advanced track before you have the skill and confidence, but if unsure, just pull back on the brakes. the restaurant is one of the best in town, and the cafeteria gives good Kiwi tucker. You can also try the giant swing. The flight simulator capsule is good value, with various "movies" of flying in a chopper over mountains, lakes, falls, and rivers.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

With the exception of one staff member (medium build, blonish hair with glasses operating the top of the chairlift at approx 1.30pm 04/09/12) it was a fantastic day - lots of fun had by kids and adults alike - ruined by one person. Disappointing
