After visiting a number of expensive, touristy places in Rotorua with my family, I really wasn't expecting much. Not big thrills, but beautifully kept bush and river reserve/park. Lots of variety of animals. Everything was so clean. I was there with three teens who loved it. It would appeal to all ages and would be great for toddlers too. Easy access for wheelchairs and buggies. Although carrying your baby in a back or front pack would be easier. A little bit of conjestion with buggies etc. Lion feeding and was fascinating. Only thing to note is that when you enter the park after handing over your tickets. Turn left if you need to go straight to the lions for 2.30pm feeding. We and others missed the sign and did the whole wildlife loop - which is a right hand turn. We all ran around it trying to find the lions in time! You can return and do the wildlife loop afterwards. Friendly staff and best coffee I've had in Rotorua from here.

Thank you for your great review!

We are so glad to hear you and your three teens enjoyed your time (and coffee!) in Paradise. Our apologies you had to rush around the park to get to Lion Feeding, we will be sure to pass on to our ticket collectors to ensure they are giving clear directions to all customers coming in. We hope you still made it on time to watch the feeding and meet our Pride!

We hope to welcome you all back to Paradise soon.

It's a nice place to wander, feed some animals, and enjoy the ducks, trout, etc. Really enjoyed the Kea and the talking (??) tui. Just a basic cafe but enough to refresh. Staff are really friendly and outgoing. Price is a bit steep but it's a pleasant visit overall.

Thank you for your review.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and walk around Paradise! And you did indeed meet a "talking" Tui, although we are not quite sure yet what it is he is trying to say exactly...

We hope to welcome you back to Paradise soon!

We decided to go to Paradise Valley Springs and purchase tickets at the door. The staff were lovely and extremely welcoming.
All directions given were easy to understand and the walkways were clearly labelled.
All animals had great information boards and clean and tidy enclosures. Being able to feed animals was a great experience for my son.

Our favourite part was all the beautiful greenery. It was truly stunning.
Thank you for a once in a life time experience.
