My husband and I had a very memorable cultural evening learning about the Maori culture and enjoying a Hangi feast. We were picked up by Darren in the Tamaki bus and driven out to the village. Whilst in the bus Darren started to tell us some history and how to say hello Kiora in Maori we then elected a chief and I think this bloke was in for an exciting evening. We met some beautiful people from this village they spoke with such love and respect towards each other and Europeans that their ancestors encountered. The performance was outstanding and the dinner most delicious, but I must say the Aussie pavlova is much nicer than the NZ one I like the crust around our pav's.... Thanks to everyone at the Tamaki village keep up the great work the world could learn from your culture hey!
