We spent 2 nights at the Novotel Rotorua. The hotel was lovely. Our room was clean and tidy. The bathroom however is a little dated. The facilities at the hotel are excellent. The restaurants were within walking distance of the accommodate which was excellent. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. More

We had the pleasure to stay at the Novotel Hotel in Rotorua last week, It was some years since I had stayed there but was still impressed with the froiendly staff and the clleaniness of the room and hotel. The bar had an large open fire in the middle of the room which added to the relaxation over a drink. Breakfast was out standing with plenty of choices

The Novotel Rotorua is perfectly located, right on the lakefront and adjacent to eat street. The entire city is within walking distance, or you could simply stay in and relax. Great restaurant, gym, hot tubs and bar. Highly recommended.

My family and I have stayed twice here and we really enjoy it. It’s close to lots of restaurants and the pool and spa pools are absolutely amazing. Room service is sometimes hard to get a hold of as they don’t always pick up the phone and a staff member at the breakfast station rolled her eyes at us when we asked for something so could use some improvement in those areas but otherwise rooms are comfortable and warm and I look forward to staying again.

Free onsite parking which is great and hotel is easy to find. Great location too, close to the lake and restaurants. Staff on the front desk were really welcoming and helpful. However the rooms are in need of updating, and the bathroom had a lot of build up of limescale around the toilet, the bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean. However the bedding was clean, and overall this hotel looks of a better standard than other available accommodation. Didn’t try any of the amenities as was only in Rotorua for one day.

We are family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children. 10,7 & 4. We booked a connecting room with city view (hillside). The rooms were big enough and beds large enough to fit everyone bu tthe rooms are getting very dated now compared to the modern reception but still comfortable enough. the kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool but again this area getting tired and 2 spa pools were not working. Buffet breakfast was average but good for kids. The hotel was in a good location so you could walk into town for dinner and lake front.
